Nowoczesna kultura żydowska - konferencja
2008-06-20 12:36:54 | WrocławZakład Studiów Żydowskich Uniwersytetu Wrocławskiego oraz Littman Library of Jewish Civilization zapraszają w dniach 24-26 czerwca 2008 r. na V Wrocławska Konferencję Judaistyczną: Nowoczesna kultura żydowska: różnorodność i uniwersalizm.
Językiem konferencji jest angielski. Miejsce obrad: Oratorium Marianum. Referaty i dyskusje zostały zgrupowane w ośmiu sesjach tematycznych. Wystąpi około 25 prelegentów ze Stanów Zjednoczonych (6) , Izraela (5), Wielkiej Brytanii (3), a także Węgier, Niemiec, Kanady, Australii, Włoch, Turcji i Polski.
We wtorek 24 czerwca o godz. 9.00 gości powitają: prof. Marcin Wodziński, kierownik Zakładu Studiów Żydowskich UWr, Connie Webber, redaktor naczelna Littman Library of Jewish Civilization oraz prof. Simon J. Bronner, amerykanista i etnolog z Uniwersytetu Stanowego Pensylwanii, kierownik naukowy Holocaust and Jewish Studies Center.
