The newly emerging company in Wroclaw, which will specialize in data analysis and Business Intelligence, is looking for willing people to take part in the first recruitment process.

Opis stanowiska:

We are looking for a Business Intelligence Developer to join our fast-growing team in Wroclaw office. Our customers are Fortune 500 companies, which assures exciting growth environment. The BI Developer is responsible for designing and creating data visualizations by collaborating with Development Teams to determine reporting needs and data requirements. The Business Intelligence Developer is an excellent communicator responsible for aggregating data from multiple sources and presenting data visualizations to a variety of audiences internal and external.

Responsibilities

Working in a cross-functional team to develop prototypes, proof of concepts and complete projects with a focus on data visualization and insights accessibility.
Develop analytical solutions, visualization and reports to support various client and enterprise initiatives.
Translate business needs to technical specifications.
Design, develop and build BI solutions (e.g. Qlik) by creating widgets, extensions, and custom build components.
Participate in the creation and support of development standards and best practices.
Develop and execute database queries and conduct data analyses.
Collaborate with Data Engineers and automate, test and maintain solutions.
Conduct system testing and troubleshooting.
Develop and update technical documentation.
Create training materials to guide business users on how to use dashboards.

Qualifications

Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Very good knowledge of JavaScript, ES6 and Angular.
Good knowledge of Ajax, HTML5, CSS3, WebSocket and REST architecture.
Ability to design good UX in simple interface components.
Software development best practices: design patterns, continuous integration, code review, testing.
Background in data warehouse design (e.g. dimensional modeling) and data mining.
In-depth understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework.
Familiarity with BI technologies (e.g. Qlik, Microsoft Power BI, Oracle BI, Tableau).
Knowledge of ETL processes and designs.
Knowledge of SQL queries, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) or equivalent.
Proven abilities to take initiative and be innovative.
Explore and recommend emerging technologies and techniques to support / enhance BI landscape components.
Analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude.
Knowledge of Single Page Applications.
Knowledge of backend technology (e.g. Python, Ruby, Java).
Knowledge of databases (e.g. Oracle, MSSql, MongoDB, ElasticSearch).
Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or relevant field
Good organizational and time management skills.
